At least 202 Palestinians were killed and 1,037 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 48 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the region, according to medical sources.
Gaza health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 55,908 fatalities, with an additional 131,138 people sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.
The death toll since the Zionist entityâs resumption of the genocide on March 18 after a two-month truce climbed to 5,599, in addition to 19,097 others injured.
Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn Gaza Strip, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews.
Israel’s genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
