The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called on the people to hold a “great national congress” on October 18, 19, and 20 to fine-tune the national plan of the Seven Transformations (7T), and said that “on July 28 it was approved by obtaining the popular victory, but I want to perfect it, so that you are the ones who determine the concrete action agenda of this government towards 2031.”
“I call on all of Venezuela, I call on all Venezuelans who are here, to focus where we need to focus,” said the head of state from Miraflores Palace, where he stressed that Venezuela won again three times. “We defeated Machado and González, who is in hiding, we defeated the influencers from Miami, and we defeated the mobilizations in the world. The Bolivarian Revolution is a great global force.”
President Maduro emphasized that the debate must begin now and continue until October 18 in order “to polish the lines of action for the plan of the Seven Transformations, a great dialogue in which all Venezuelans participate.”

He condemned the call for violence by the far right and said that once again they were defeated. Thus, he asked the National Assembly to speed up the approval of the Law Against Fascism, Neo-fascism, and Similar Expressions. The Chavista leader said, “Fascism will not return to Venezuela, hatred will not return. In Venezuela, the right to build a future of peace and prosperity for all has won.”
The Venezuelan president asked the people if they wanted a return to violence and conflicts between Venezuelans. “We cannot go backwards,” the head of state emphasized, while calling for “moving forward in the consolidation of peace, turning the page and recovering the economy, recovering the rights of workers, recovering the happiness of all Venezuelans.”
