The presidential candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole coalition, NicolĂĄs Maduro, presented to the country the Seven Transformations Plan for the year 2030. In a televised message on Thursday, July 25, the president of Venezuela stated that his government program has one great objective: to safeguard peace and consolidate a new productive economic model for the well-being of the Venezuelan people.
He highlighted that this plan has three immediate objectives:
âWe have learnt to do a lot with nothing, we have already overcome the worst,” President Maduro said. “Now what is coming is for the better, for greatness: the promises will be fulfilled and nothing and nobody will stand in our way of becoming an emerging power in South America.â
The first transformation in his government program focuses on the creation of a new economic model that invests and democratizes wealth in spite of the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Venezuela by the United States and its allies in collusion with the Venezuelan ultra right.
The president stressed that a new model has already emerged in Venezuela as a result of the ingenuity of Venezuelans, and that with this model it was possible, among other things, to overcome hyperinflation and establish a stable and solid multi-currency exchange system to defeat the economic war. âOur economy has grown over and above the most optimistic forecasts,” he highlighted. “We have been able to overcome the criminal sanctions that the fascist ultra-right wing asked for, and we have created a humanist proposal against savage capitalism.”
The second transformation aims at the advancement of science, technology, education and culture. For this purpose, the educational and research infrastructure will be reconstructed by the Military Community Brigades (Bricomiles) and equipped with the latest technology. âThe first virtual classrooms with artificial intelligence are already in Venezuela to support the work of teachers,â he stated.
President Maduro emphasized that âOur goal is to raise the pedagogical and educational quality and guarantee free and quality education for all.”
The third transformation is associated with the consolidation of citizen security in the country. In this regard, President Maduro pledged to achieve four major goals:
He also highlighted his government’s commitment to achieve the recovery of Guayana Esequiba.
The fourth transformation is related to the recovery of the social welfare state to heal the wounds of the economic war. The president stated that the Venezuelan State’s missions and great missions will be broadened to ensure medical and social care for all.
âWe will renovate more than 2 million homes that need renovations,” he said. “We must continue improving housing for all. We will provide housing to janitors and condominium workers, to workers over 60 years old.”
The fifth transformation aims at strengthening democracy. To achieve this goal, President Maduro promised to expand and perfect the 1Ă10 System of Good Governance in order to generate effective solutions for the people. âIt is necessary to continue advancing with an iron fist against indolence, bureaucracy and corruption. We will continue to combat these defects of the bourgeois model and give more power to the people,â he stressed.
The sixth transformation will focus on combating ecological degradation. âWe intend to change our culture in the environmental field to mitigate climate change,â he said.
The seventh transformation is aimed at geopolitical changes for the construction of a multipolar world. âWe will continue to advance in the full incorporation of our country into the BRICS bloc, the recovery and consolidation of CELAC, the expansion of ALBA, and the definitive recovery of UNASUR,â President Maduro stressed.
