President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, reported that the extreme right is planning a new “diabolical” attack that is being unveiled and is being actively investigated.
During the inauguration of the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Comprehensive Diagnostic Center in the parish of El Junquito, Libertador municipality of Caracas, on Wednesday, September 4, the president announced that soon there will be more news about the criminal plans.
“You will learn over the next few days [about] the criminal plans that we are, in real time, unveiling, and the criminals that we are capturing. They are fascist, diabolical plans,” he said.
President Maduro praised the work carried out by the country’s intelligence and security agencies “and extraordinary friends of the people and of different countries of the world who are informing us everything in a timely manner.”
“I cannot reveal information, because the investigation is in an advanced stage and any detail I say will give clues to those we are about to arrest. First the arrests, then the information will be made public,” he added.
He also decried that one of the plans of the extreme right was to paralyze hospitals with the attack on the National Electrical System (SEN).

“The fascist right wing sought to affect the service in hospitals, to repeat the scenario of 2019,” he said. “Their plans have been dismantled. They could not do it, nor will they be able to!”
On August 30, at 4:40 a.m., a sabotage against the SEN occurred, which left a large part of the country without electricity.
“As always, I am on the side of the people and on the front line of battle, facing this criminal attack against the National Electrical System,” President Maduro said at that time. “I have said it and I repeat it: [we must have] tranquility and sanity, nerves of steel! Desperate fascism attacks the people, but together we will overcome this new onslaught. We will always win.”
