The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received a delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
The high-level delegation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, headed by the minister of the Department of Social Work Wu Hansheng, was welcomed by President Maduro at the SimĂłn BolĂvar Hall on Wednesday, June 11.
This visit ratifies Venezuela’s willingness to consolidate international cooperation based on sovereignty, social justice, and the defense of a multipolar international order.
Strengthening political and ideological ties
The CPC delegation’s visit reflects a concrete political intention: to deepen the joint work between the two countries in the diplomatic, social, and economic fields.
The alliance between Venezuela and China is aimed at transforming the bilateral relationship into a platform that promotes sovereignty and equality between nations, contrary to the interventionist policies of global capitalism.
