The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, condemned the interventionist positions of the United States, the European Union, and some other countries around the world.
“Go to hell, we don’t care … mind your own business. We Venezuelans will take care of Venezuelan affairs,” he said on Friday, November 15, during his speech at the Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc in Caracas.
Cabello called upon the people to remain “prepared for everything,” and added that the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called for “a structural fusion of the people, the military and the police in defense of the country, because one of the issues that has come up here [in the Congress] is how to stop fascism once and for all.”
“This is an issue for all the groups because our people have been threatened, persecuted and murdered. Let us prepare ourselves and build this force to defend the Revolution and the operational model of the UPPAZ [Popular Units for Peace],” he said.
The Chavista leader said that far-right extremists insist on attacking Venezuela, so the revolutionary forces are obliged “to continue defending Venezuela.”
He further said that in the event of any destabilization, “impunity is over,” and reiterated that there will be justice “so that there can be true peace in this country.”
