Venezuelans who were exploited by the country’s fascist and far-right parties have returned to the country and, after hosting parties for Donald Trump, have been “kicked out” of the United States. Secretary general of Venezuela’s United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, noted during a recent press conference that those who committed crimes in Venezuela will have to face the legal repercussions of their actions.
On Monday, April 7, in the presence of PSUV candidates for governor, Cabello said that all repatriated individuals are being treated appropriately but that those who “engaged in cruel behavior will be punished in accordance with the Law Against Hatred and Fascism.”
When asked about the opposition and the emergence of new movements under different names, he pointed out that they are still the same ones that have acted against the country in the past: “They can call themselves whatever they want; the issue of fascism is not resolved that way. They are the same people who called for blockades and sanctions against the country. We must be very cautious when taking any opposition leader at face value.”
He indicated that if you look at those on the Decide Network, until recently, they wore suits tailored to their fascism. “They’re the same, exactly the same,” said Cabello. “We have lived through this experience several times.”
ExxonMobil case: they are up to something
Regarding Vice President Delcy RodrĂguez’s alert about a possible false flag operation targeting Venezuela trough ExxonMobil, he noted that anyone investigating such a claim must start by “reviewing social media platforms.”
“Since April 2nd, none of them has used social media,” noted Cabello. “Considering their malice, they must be plotting something. Marco Rubio was in Guyana recently. Do you think Marco Rubio went to tell the ExxonMobil employees there that they are going to raise tariffs? No, he went to give them orders, and those orders have to do with our Essequibo.”
Cabello recalled that the Venezuelan government has responded strongly to all those who seek to intimidate Venezuela.
In addition, Cabello brought up the “Erik Prince issue in Ecuador” and noted that “things are getting tough for them, getting drugs, and they sent a drug trafficking advisor to Ecuador.”
The PSUV leader said that “precise information about camps in Ecuador” is being collected. He added that all necessary “checking and review measures are being taken to see what is going on.”
“Fortunately, we have been fighting them for a while, combating them, and we can even say we have defeated them,” said Cabello, speaking about organized narco-trafficking syndicates.
Opposition politicians with unlimited ambition
When asked about the political aspirations of opposition politicians, Cabello noted that every time there are elections, people show up who were previously nowhere to be found.
“They are frauds, huge frauds who have excessive personal ambition,” he said, adding that the PSUV candidates have been compliant with the referendum and act in a unified manner.
“We shouldn’t expect anything from them,” said Cabello of the opposition. “Fascism cannot be cured; it must be fought.”
Regarding Easter activities, during which the opposition plans to demand the release of several jailed politicians, Cabello maintains that “it has been proven time and time again that there are no political prisoners here. There are fascists, however, and there are murderers.”
He recalled that numerous innocent Venezuelans were killed: “Let us recall that they murdered two [PSUV] comrades—two women—with cruelty, with malice, and they burned human beings alive. But according to them, they are political prisoners.”
The PSUV leader also pointed out that the Great Patriotic Pole has everything prepared for the May 25 electoral process and that “everything the opposition says is conditional. They want to suspend the elections because they can’t agree, because they haven’t done their homework.”
Trump is not emperor of the world
Cabello also said that the US president is carrying out a “persecution against a people.” He indicated that US repressive forces simply take away Venezuelans who have tattoos.
“At this point, I haven’t heard the ecclesiastical authorities speak out on this issue,” he added. “It would be a good time for them to put aside their arrogance and stand by the humble.”
He pointed out that “Trump was not elected by the people of the United States as emperor of the world; it is logical that the people of that country complain to him because he has not governed for his people. He will have to see how they manage to govern for the 70 million people who eat only once a day; he will have to govern to see how he does with the young people who are dying from drug use. There are zombie cities [in the US].”
Cabello also noted that, judging by recent events, “it seems that tariffs are not the most advisable way to solve the economic problem.”
“I say this because of the world’s response,” continued Cabello. “Escalating from there does not benefit the US people in any way… I saw how, at a demonstration, they were protesting, and some men with machine guns got out to force them to leave, and some civilians supporting the president with a rifle protested those standing on the sidewalk. God willing, nothing bad happens.”

The election campaign will run from April 29 to May 23. Meanwhile, an electoral simulation will be held on May 4, and the elections will take place on May 25.
