The government of Venezuela condemned the attacks carried out by the Israeli regime against Iran and Syria, calling them a violation of the sovereignty of these countries and a threat to peace and security in the region.
Through a statement published by the Foreign Affairs Ministry on Saturday, October 26, the Venezuelan government stated that these attacks constitute an act of unjustified aggression against Iran and Syria.
Mainstream media has portrayed the Zionist attack as a response to a previous one by Iran, without mentioning that the Iranian attack in question was in response to ongoing Israeli genocidal attacks against the people of Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the assassinations of top leaders of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Hamas, and Hezbollah.
Iran Declares ‘Mission Accomplished’ Following Retaliatory Strikes Against Israeli Military
“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela condemns the attacks perpetrated by the Zionist regime of Netanyahu against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Syrian Arab Republic, which constitute a new act of unjustified aggression, a violation of the sovereignty of these countries, and a threat to regional peace and security,” the Venezuelan statement expressed.
It also said that the Zionist regime’s continued violation of international law and its terrorist and genocidal actions against Palestine and Lebanon “make the Zionist entity a rogue state.”
Venezuela called upon the international community to stop the genocide through political and judicial means, as this is the only measure that could restore stability in the Middle East and prevent a larger conflict.
