Things keep heating up in Venezuela, with possible âmilitary optionsâ now being seriously discussed at the Pentagon. And of course you know what that means! Thatâs right, it means we can expect to see even more lies and manipulations from the political/media class as the narrative managers try to get their rapey little fingers into our minds to manufacture support for unconscionable acts.
This can create a very confusing environment for everyone, where up means down and black means white and âhumanitarian interventionâ means âmurdering thousands and thousands of innocent human beingsâ. With that in mind, hereâs a handy translation key to help you understand what the establishment mouthpieces are really saying:
~
âI stand with the people of Venezuelaâ = I stand with some of the people in Venezuela, specifically the ones who support US government interests.
âInterim Presidentâ = Some guy most Venezuelans had never heard of until January of this year.
âBrutal dictatorâ = Elected leader who opposes US dictates.
âUsurperâ = The guy calling the shots and leading the country.
âOpposition-led, military-backed challengeâ = Coup.
âThe people of Venezuela are starvingâ = Oil! Oil! Oil!
âAll options are on the tableâ = One option is on the table.
âPopular uprisingâ = Unpopular uprising.
âGrassroots activistsâ = Letâs pretend the CIAâs not a thing.
âFreedom and democracyâ = US control of Venezuelaâs petroleum resources.
âHumanitarian aidâ = Pretext for further escalations.
âFailed socialist policiesâ = Inability to overcome US economic warfare.
âForeign interferenceâ = An ally of Venezuela supporting its ally.
âWe support the National Assemblyâ = Foreign interference.
âThe Venezuelan Constitutionâ = Our convenient interpretation of the Venezuelan Constitution.
âWe canât just sit around and do nothingâ = I have learned nothing since the Iraq War.
â54 countries recognize Guaido as presidentâ = 141 countries donât recognize Guaido as president.
âTroika of tyrannyâ = John Boltonâs second-favorite masturbatory fantasy.
âSpecial Envoy to Venezuelaâ = Convicted war criminal.
âThe Monroe Doctrineâ = I think all the countries on this side of the planet are my personal property.
âOperaciĂłn Libertadâ = OperaciĂłn Libertad para el PetrĂłleo de Venezuela.
âShut the fuck up, bitch.â = Standard talking point from Venezuela coup narrative managers on social media.
âTalk to Venezuelansâ = Talk to the wealthier, English-speaking Venezuelans with abundant free time and internet access who support a coup.
âYou love Maduroâ = I donât have an argument for your opposition to US interventionism.
âYouâre just a socialist who loves socialismâ = I donât have an argument.
âGo live in Venezuela if you love socialism so muchâ = I donât have an argument.
âMaduro is killing his own peopleâ = Yeah Iâm just making shit up now.
âMaduro refuses to let in aidâ = I just believe whatever the TV says.
âTrump is liberating the people of Venezuelaâ = I just believe whatever QAnon says.
âThis US regime change intervention will be differentâ = I have replaced my brain with shaving cream.
