President Nicolas Maduro has warned several times during the last week that in Colombia paramilitary and terrorist groups are being trained with the support of Colombian authorities to promote terrorist actions in Venezuela.
Bernal also reported that an improvised infirmary was dismantled which was used to provide first aid to Colombian paramilitaries.
“With accurate information from the intelligence services we destroyed the logistic flow of a terrorist cell of Los Rastrojos on this border axis. We will not rest until evicting paramilitary cells operating on that border that serve as the armed arm of right-wing political actors who sow violence in the territory!” he stressed.
