The Bolivarian Aerospace Defense Command, through the exercises “Venezuela Sovereignty and Peace”, managed to neutralize an aircraft dedicated to drug trafficking on an improvised runway in Zulia state on Saturday.
The information was provided by the Commander of the Comprehensive Aerospace Defense of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Major General Juan Teixeira, on his Twitter account.The official shared some images of the military operation.
Since 2012 Venezuela has been enforcing the “Control for the Comprehensive Defense of Airspace Act” neutralizing every year dozens of aircrafts not complying with engagement protocols and suspected to be linked with drug trafficking,
