The Venezuelan Consortium of Industrias Aeronáuticas y Servicios Aéreos SA (Conviasa) transported 1.3 million kilos of air cargo safely, quickly, and efficiently in 2020, overcoming many obstacles, said the Vice Minister of Air Transport for the Ministry of Transport, and President of the airline, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, this Sunday.
According to a post on his Twitter account @rvaraguayan, he indicated that Conviasa’s air cargo service guaranteed entry into the country of food and medicine that contributed to the strengthening of Venezuela’s economy and strategies.

In 2020, facing a pandemic and other adversity, Conviasa accomplished more than 305 maintenance tasks. These actions were possible thanks to the work of thousands of workers, whose efforts never wavered even while humanitarian flights were being completed during the pandemic.
