Caracas, December 13, 2018.- The Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautics and Air Services (Conviasa) will open this Friday the flight connection between Havana-Managua.
The information was released by the president of the Venezuelan airline, Ramón Velásquez.
He stressed that the connection they will offer approximately 32,448 annual seats.
He also explained that flights will come with three weekly frequencies: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, reports the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).
The airline Conviasa has consolidated seven international destinations this year: Cuba, Ecuador, Aruba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Panama and the Dominican Republic.
It also plans to open 13 more routes next year, which will allow Venezuela to generate foreign currency for the self-sustainability of the institution and for promoting tourism.
The extension of operations is part of the Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity Program.
Velasquez said that these new routes will boost the capacity and transport of cargo, which will increase foreign trade./AWMJ
