“I am very grateful for the prayers of the different churches, the rituals of the amautas, the calls and messages that I received from Bolivia and abroad, giving me strength to overcome this virus that, unfortunately, is affecting so many families worldwide,” said the ex-president.
Bolivia has so far 200 thousand cases of COVID-19, with recovery rate of 75.2% and 9,927 deaths. This situation is the result of the terrible handling of the pandemic by former de facto president, Jeanine Áñez.
