Images and Video: Law Enforcement Agencies Already Deployed on the Border with Colombia (+Paramilitaries)
To guarantee peace at the border, troops from the different Venezuelan security and intelligence agencies were deployed on the Colombian-Venezuelan border through the Táchira state, to stop the mafias entering from the neighboring country, Freddy Bernal announced.
The operation where they seized more than 3 tons of narcotics, 7 thousand cartridges of ammunition and arrested 28 terrorists, is part of the 2019 Liberator Simón BolÃvar Campaign, carried out by the Government of Venezuela.

In Bernal’s opinion, Venezuela has never received “collaboration” from the Colombian National Police in the containment of paramilitarism, “we fight against paramilitarism alone.” It should be noted that the border has always been a very vulnerable area for the breakdown of peace because on the Colombian side, there is no security or crime prevention.
