Strengthening Control Measures for Quarantine in the Caracas Metro and Railways

“We have ordered the reinforcing of sanitary control measures for the use of the Caracas Metro and Metropolitan Railway transportation systems,” reported the Minister for Internal Relations, Néstor Reverol.
The announcement was made through his Instagram account @reverolnestor, at the end of a meeting with national authorities of security agencies and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), in order to review and redirect the social, collective and voluntary quarantine, taking necessary actions to guarantee compliance.

“We remain on alert and in permanent resistance, in perfect civic-military-police union, before any threat that disrupts internal order and social peace,” he said.
It should be noted that these actions are taken as part of the biosecurity measures recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), in relation to the due compliance with social distancing, the use of Metro and Rail services by workers of priorized sectors, and to guarantee the well-being and health of the people of Venezuela.
