The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two qualitative military operations targeting the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea, as well as two US navy destroyers in the Red Sea, using cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and drones. This was confirmed by Yemen’s military spokesman, brigadier general Yahya Sarea, in a statement on Tuesday evening.
According to the military spokesman, the first operation targeted the US aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, which was stationed in the Arabian Sea, with a series of cruise missiles and drones.

“The strike occurred while the U.S. military was preparing to conduct hostile operations aimed at Yemen,” he said, adding that the operation successfully thwarted the US military’s latest planned aggression against the country.
“The second operation targeted two US destroyers in the Red Sea with a number of ballistic missiles and drones. The operation has successfully achieved its objectives,” Sarea further explained.
“Both operations extended over a period of eight hours,” he underlined.
“Accordingly, the Yemeni Armed Forces hold the US and British enemies responsible for transforming the Red Sea area into a zone of military tension and the resulting implications on maritime navigation,” Sarea said.
“The aggression against Yemen as part of the US-British defense of the ‘Israeli’ enemy, through US warships, only encourages the Yemeni Armed Forces to further exercise their legitimate right to defend and counter all hostile threats in both the Red and Arabian Seas, as well as any other region within reach of Yemeni weapons,” he added.
“The operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces will not cease until the aggression against Gaza is halted, the siege on it is lifted, and the aggression against Lebanon is stopped,” the brigadier general stressed.
