Venezuela has received 1,588,000 tourists as of October 30, reported the minister of Tourism, Leticia Gómez.
She added that the figure slightly exceeded the projection for this year, so “now the goal is to reach 2 million tourist arrivals in Venezuela by the end of 2024.”
Minister Gómez made these statements in the context of more than 300 tourists from Poland arriving in Nueva Esparta on November 11. The Ministry of Tourism further reported in a press release that tourists have also arrived from Austria, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
The minister commented that with the recent visit of the European tourists, the second phase of the ministry’s tourism program between Poland and Venezuela was inaugurated.
