Vice President Delcy RodrĂguez Reports 37 New Coronavirus Cases in Venezuela (33 Imported Cases)

Venezuelan Vice President Delcy RodrĂguez, reported that in the last 24 hours 37 new cases of Covid-19 have been detected in the country. Venezuela reaches a total of 541 positive cases. Only 4 of the cases are community infections while 33 are imported.
From the Miraflores Palace, the vice president detailed that out of the 37 new confirmed cases, 33 are in the Capital District and 4 in Apure state. She reported that 19 of the cases are from Peru and 14 from Colombia corresponding to Venezuelan migrants escaping from the pandemic catastrophe in those countries taking advantage of a Venezuelan humanitarian flight from the “Plan Vuelta a la Patria “that arrived from Peru on May 8.
Executive Vice President Delcy RodrĂguez also detailed that there are 241 recovered patients and she insisted that the quarrantine to be observed and for the mandatory use of face masks.
