Washington Blocks Venezuela’s Access to Food and Now Pompeo Accuses Maduro of Using Food as a Political Weapon (Hypocrisy Legendary Level)

The Secretary of State of the United States, Mike Pompeo, accused the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, of using food as a “political weapon” to control citizens.

According to Pompeo, who confessed months ago that his government had taken years to create the current crisis in Venezuela and more than 90% of Venezuelans cannot obtain what is necessary to cover their most basic food needs; which is why “Maduro forces Venezuelans to choose between food and freedom.”

“More than 280 million people suffer from chronic hunger, including 94% of Venezuelans unable to cover daily food needs. Venezuelans refer to this as the “Maduro diet.” Pompeo said on his Twitter account along with a video.

“While the U.S. gives millions of $ in aid, Maduro uses food as a political weapon,” adds Pompeo, one of the main actors in the Donald Trump administration to besiege Venezuela and promote the total blockade currently being executed against the Venezuelan people.
