A new batch of 150 Venezuelan nationals, among them 24 women and 126 men, repatriated from the United States and arriving via Honduras, have returned home to Venezuela.
They landed at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, in La Guaira state, on Wednesday, June 4.
The return of these Venezuelans was made possible thanks to the Return to the Homeland Plan, an initiative of the Venezuelan government, that has conducted 27 return flights this year, repatriating Venezuelan nationals from several countries.
Upon their arrival, the repatriates received comprehensive medical and social care from a multidisciplinary team.

Through a press release, the minister for the Interior, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, stated that so far this year, more than 5,000 Venezuelans have returned to the country through the Return to the Homeland Plan. “Each flight that arrives to the country is the result of the effort we are making so that these people can return and participate in the construction of the homeland,” he said.
Venezuelan authorities highlighted that this latest flight comes at a key moment, after the US sent migrants to Honduras and the US Supreme Court authorized the Trump administration to revoke the protected status of thousands of migrants from Venezuela and other countries, which opens the door to their possible deportation.
The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, asked all Venezuelans to participate in the construction of a prosperous Venezuela so that no one has to leave their country. “Our wish is that all those who left their country due to the economic war and ended up in the American tragedy believing that they were going to a paradise, return,” he said.
