This jump from Rojas is the fourth best jump in history after Kravets’ record (15.50), 15.41 of her own and 15.39 of Cameroon Mbango. That Rojas beats the world record is only a matter of time, as she showed in her series: 14.87, 15.37, null, 15.18, 14.77 and a very long null.
All exaggerated in relation to her rivals, who were stunned by the exhibition. Ricketts, the one who had beaten her in the Diamond League, was silver with 14.92. The warrior Caterine IbargĂĽen hung the bronze (14.73), giving her all to compensate for the physical problems that weighed her down all year long.
