In the month of May of this year the Persian country contributed with Venezuela to overcome the gasoline shortage, as a result of the illegal coercive measures imposed by the United States. Iran sent five ships loaded with 1.53 million barrels of gasoline and additives for the revival of refining facilities in Venezuela.
At that moment the US regime through the SouthCom and their controlled main stream media announced the military risk of this operation arguing the war on drugs and the illegal US sanctions against both countries. The resolve of Iran and Venezuela made the project a success because the violation of international law represented in US threatening of free trade among sovereign countries, was not an option.
In recent days a special Venezuelan diplomatic envoy, Alex Saab, was also illegally detained in Cape Verde on his way back to Venezuela after finishing negotiations of food and medicines in Iran according to local media.
