Chancellor Arreaza Meets with Top Cuban Authorities

Cuban leaders Raรบl Castro Ruz and Miguel Dรญaz-Canel Bermรบdez held an exchange of impressions last night in this capital with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza, Granma newspaper reported Tuesday.
Arreaza is in Havana leading a delegation from his country that participates in the 18th ALBA Political Council, which will be held this May 21 in the Cuban capital.

According to information from Granma, the interview of the Venezuelan Foreign Minister with the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raรบl Castro Ruz, and the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Dรญaz-Canel Bermรบdez, took place in a fraternal environment.
They highlighted the solid ties that unite Cuba and Venezuela and exchanged views on topics of the regional and international agenda. Comrade Arreaza thanked the permanent solidarity of the Cuban people and government, reported by Granma and also reviewed by Prensa Latina news agency.

Likewise, Raรบl Castro and Dรญaz-Canel reiterated during that meeting their support for the constitutional President Nicolรกs Maduro and the civic-military union of the Venezuelan people.
In the official report, it is indicated that Chancellor Arreaza ratified the commitment of the Bolivarian Revolution with the principles endorsed in the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.
The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Cuba, Adรกn Chรกvez Frรญas , and the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodrรญguez Parrilla, were present at these conversations last night.
