The Pre-Dispatch Audit of Voting Machines was carried out this Sunday from the warehouses of the National Electoral Council (CNE) located in Mariche, Miranda state, to validate and replicate all the stages of the electoral process through a sample of 0.5% of voting tables, stratified by state in a controlled environment.
The President of the Electoral Power, Indira Alfonzo, presented the Pre-Dispatch Audit to Venezuelans, in which more than 90% of the machines are already enabled to carry out December 6th’s electoral process, when the deputies to the National Assembly (AN) for 2021 to 2026 will be elected.

Alfonzo explained that in the warehouses a deployment of technical experts, made up of professors from different universities acting as audit experts, as well as representatives designated by the 107 participating political organizations, evaluated the installation, the implementation of machine operation, and the operation of the automated identification, counting, totalization and transmission systems.
“Everything is ready, only you are missing with your vote, with your decision, on December 6, to elect the parliamentarians of the AN. We have done the work you entrusted us with, we’ve done it with discipline, and with responsibility based on experience,” she said.
Alfonzo asked the political organizations to each complete one of the testimonials found at voting tables, while emphasizing that more than 30,000 voting tables have been arranged throughout the country, 14,200 voting centers across eighty-seven constituencies.

She called on Venezuelans selected in the random system, also audited by political organizations and Technical Missions that were connected remotely today, to participate as voting table members in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The head of the CNE thanked and recognized the public and private media, for their presence in covering and accompanying the Electoral Power throughout the process, allowing the CNE to display to the national and international community what each electoral process means.
“Each electoral exercise is an exercise of peace, we are demonstrating it and we will demonstrate it with your vote, it is time to elect the next 6D,” Alfonzo concluded.
The President of the Electoral Power, Indira Alfonzo Izaguirre, was accompanied by the Vice President of the CNE, Leonardo Morales, and other rectors that make up the Board of Directors of the Electoral Body, the representatives appointed by the 107 participating political organizations, a team of external auditors made up of research professors from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV), and national and international observers participating in person and through digital platforms.
