CNE Schedules for Sunday 15-N a Second Voting Drill (Parliamentary Elections)

Next Sunday, November 15, the second edition of the electoral simulation will take place in preparation for the parliamentary elections scheduled for December 6.

The announcement was made by the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Indira Alfonzo, during a press conference broadcasted by VTV, in which she formally announced the beginning of the electoral campaign within the framework of the upcoming elections. “Once again, voters will have the opportunity to practice how to vote for December 6,” she said.

In the same way, Alfonzo stressed that the electoral board has unanimously approved the Campaign Regulation that in the recent days was made known to the political parties, the media and the International Community. Special Regulation for the Electoral Campaign of the elections to the NA that takes into consideration the legal and bio safety provisions, as well as the possibility of regulating digital platforms and the use of information and communication technologies, to favor the discussion of propaganda and electoral information.

She also added that the stages of the electoral schedule have been successfully accomplished, where she reported more than 75% of the progress of the Electoral Schedule, guaranteeing the greatest political plurality and compliance with transparency, reliability, impartiality, equity, equality and serenity provided for in the Constitution.

She also added that up to now 5 of the 17 audits planned for this electoral process have been successfully completed and two are in full swing: the audit of the counting software and the audits of electoral rolls (cuadernos).
