The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his optimism regarding the technological advances that the country is developing in collaboration with the People’s Republic of China, especially the Guaicaipuro satellite.
“I hope, with the favor of God Almighty, creator of heaven and earth, that very soon I can give you good news about the Guaicaipuro satellite, the latest generation satellite. Guaicaipuro arrives from China to space,” he commented on Monday, February 11, during the broadcast of his televised program Con Maduro+.
He said that the Guaicaipuro satellite will optimize satellite communication in Venezuela, providing direct benefits for the people as well as the security agencies of the country.
“It will provide satellite internet for the communities, for the people, for Venezuelans at reasonable prices,” he added.

He also highlighted the signing of scientific collaboration agreements with China and the interest of the Asian giant in Venezuela’s 7 Transformations Plan.
President Maduro stressed that this has led the two countries to collaborate on a cooperation plan, which integrates China’s technological, financial, scientific, human and political capacity into Venezuela’s National Development Plan 2025-2031.
“We are in a new era. The new era of transition to socialism,” said President Maduro, emphasizing his commitment to the development and transformation of the country.
