Moscow (Sputnik) – The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs attributed to the western countries the mobilizations that are registered near the embassies and consulates of Venezuela after the swearing in of President Nicolás Maduro for his second term.
“We know perfectly well how the western countries organize these acts of protest in front of the embassies, we know who and how they finance them,” said the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, María Zajárova. The diplomat again demanded that the Western countries cease the interference in the internal affairs of Venezuela.
“We urge that Venezuelans be given the opportunity to solve their problems in a legitimate way and respecting their own laws, Constitution and history,” she said.
According to several media, the protests were reported in Germany, Spain, Argentina and Paraguay, the latter country broke diplomatic relations with Venezuela.
