Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino has stated that Venezuela is not stopping amid US military threats and psychological warfare, and continues to develop the plan outlined by President Nicolás Maduro, referring to the Seven Transformations (7T) project.
“[Venezuela is] deepening the new economic model,” he said in a video posted on social media this Wednesday, November 5, “diversified, post-rentier, in the midst of the blockade, the economic persecution, the criminal persecution against the Venezuelan economy; advancing in the social transformation too, in politics.”

The minister also noted that last weekend, the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) accompanied the people to the assemblies for the fourth Popular Consultation, “strengthening our democratic model of direct democracy.”
Referring to geopolitical issues, he said that the diplomacy of peace continues to be “always betting on Latin American and Caribbean unity; meanwhile, the imperialist hegemony of the North seeks to maintain world chaos, financing wars in distant lands. We, from our hearts, from Venezuela, tell them: either we reach a healthy agreement of mutual coexistence, in balance, respecting the right of peoples to be free, their dignity, or we continue under the law of the Wild West, which would of course lead us to the destruction of humanity,” in reference to the erratic and warmongering US foreign policy.
Minister Padrino noted that the US empire “exports chaos and double standards. Venezuela is building its own destiny and future, in peace and with dignity. And the Bolivarian National Armed Force is the guarantor of this progress, maintaining its high level of cohesion, consolidating the Communal Militia Units (UCM), and expelling the armed terrorist and drug trafficking groups that intend to operate in Venezuelan territory, whatever they may call themselves,” he explained.

He also noted the fact that the FANB is protecting the environment from illegal mining. “Look at how many aircraft we have shot down, disabled this year: 23, for a total of 414 since 2002,” he pointed out. “It is a great effort that the FANB is making to maintain peace in the country and its internal stability. So we continue preparing ourselves in perfect cohesion, a popular-military-police union, to defend peace under any circumstances.”
