“The dustbin of history is where Josep Borrell belongs,” said Venezuela’s foreign minister, Yván Gil. He noted that Borrell has twice failed in his attempts to harm the Venezuelan people.
In a message posted on his Telegram account on Sunday, September 15, Gil explained that among Borrell’s attempts to harm Venezuela is the creation of two fictitious governments for the country.
Gil also accused Borrell of turning the European Union into a decrepit, colonialist, and warlike institution.
The top Venezuelan diplomat wrote, “Shame on you! We say it here in Venezuela to refer to the dark legacy of a third-category person like Borrell.”
It is important to remember that this statement by the Venezuelan foreign minister came after Borrell, in an interview with a Spanish media outlet, stated that there is a “dictatorial regime” in Venezuela.
