Foreign Minister YvĂĄn Gil described Israeli counterpart Gideon Saarâwho accused Venezuela of alleged ties to Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis in South Americaâas a âwar criminal and a genocidaire.â
âWhat he should be doing is not mentioning Venezuela, but preparing to be judged for the crimes his government is committing against the Palestinian people,â Foreign Minister Gil stated in a post on his Telegram channel.
The head of Bolivarian diplomacy emphasized that Venezuela is an independent and sovereign nation. âThe name Venezuela is too grand for your filthy mouth and hands stained with innocent blood. We are an independent peopleâa people who fight for their sovereignty, who liberate, who defend equality, human rights and international law.â
âYou,â he added, ârepresent barbarism and the systematic violation of all the norms that govern civilized humanity. We are not interested in your opinion, nor are we affected by your desperate rhetoric.â

Finally, Foreign Minister YvĂĄn Gil dismissed Saarâs rhetoric, focusing instead on what he called the inevitable path to justice: âThe only thing that matters is that, sooner rather than later, you will have to answer to international justice.â
