A flight with 193 Venezuelan repatriates arrived at the Simón Bolívar International Airport of Maiquetía, La Guaira state, from the United States as part of the Venezuelan government’s Return to the Homeland Plan.
On Friday, May 30, 153 men, 29 women and 11 children returned to the country. They were attended to by the Venezuelan authorities with the corresponding protocols in terms of legal security, identification, health, and psychosocial services.
With this flight, more than 4,000 Venezuelan families have been reunited this year.
The Return to the Homeland Plan is the Venezuelan government’s repatriation program that facilitates the return of Venezuelan migrants who are being persecuted in the US and elsewhere due to xenophobia.
