The flight made a stopover in Honduras as part of a coordinated effort to ensure safe and dignified travel for all. Upon arrival in Venezuela, national authorities took them through health and secirity protocols, ensuring both their well-being and public health.
The Return to the Homeland Program has established itself as a vital initiative of the government of Venezuela, serving fellow nationals forced to emigrate and now facing extreme hardship abroad. This humanitarian program seeks to provide a bridge back home for those Venezuelans who have suffered the consequences of xenophobia and restrictive, and often inhumane, migration policies. Through this program, the Chavista government responds concretely to the needs of its population, in contrast to the lack of support from host countries.
Many returnees have shared harrowing stories of arbitrary detention, inhumane treatment, and legal exclusion, situations exacerbated by policies implemented during the Donald Trump administration. These accounts, repeated on previous flights, underscore the urgency and necessity of this humanitarian plan.

The Venezuelan government reaffirms its commitment to continue facilitating the return of more Venezuelans. The implementation of these flights represents not only a humanitarian action, but also a declaration of sovereignty and state responsibility toward its citizens. This program has allowed hundred of thousands to regain hope and dignity so far, offering them a second chance in their own country since 2018.
In addition, mechanisms have been established for the social and economic reintegration of returnees, demonstrating a comprehensive approach beyond physical return. Medical care, psychological support, and employment assistance are among the tools the government provides to those returning.
