Capriles, Falcón, Ecarri, Pablo Pérez and Stalin González received their credentials from the electoral body as parliamentarians.
Opposition deputies elected to the National Assembly, Henrique Capriles Radonski, Henri Falcón, Stalin González, Antonio Ecarri, and Pablo Pérez, recognized the authorities of the National Electoral Council (CNE) upon officially receiving their credentials as parliamentarians for the next legislative period, during the Proclamation and Assignment of Office ceremony at the Municipal Theater in Caracas.
Despite having discredited the highest electoral body in previous years, Henrique Capriles Radonski shook hands with the president of the Electoral Branch, Elvis Amoroso, as well as other authorities such as the principal rector and vice president of the institution, Carlos Quintero, and the rectors Rosalba Gil and Conrado Pérez.
This same gesture of recognition was echoed by Falcón, González, Ecarri, and Pérez, who greeted the electoral referees upon receiving their respective credentials. Among other members of the various opposition parties, other notable figures include David Uzcátegui, Luis Eduardo Parra, José Brito, and José Gregorio Correa.
A Sociopolitical Reading of Venezuela’s May 25 Election Results

The ĂšNICA Alliance, a coalition of opposition parties, even managed to secure the election of three deputies to the National Assembly. Among the notable names is that of the former governor, who represents his first elected position after a period of political disqualification.
