In the last 48 hours, the political opposition has broadcast photos and videos through social networks about alleged instability on the border with Colombia as part of the psychological war against Venezuelans.
Despite a promise of humanitarian aid, the threat of a military contingent coming from the United States (US) to the border with Colombia has created a climate of alarm and terror among the Venezuelan population.

In videos and photos published by TeleSUR journalist Madelein GarcĂa, the opposition has helped to boost psychological warfare. Not only the publication of videos and photos have served to generate an erroneous media trend, but whatsapp messages have also contributed to generate a climate of fear.

In an interview for the Venezuelan state channel, Venezolana de TelevisiĂłn (VTV), the first vice president of the National Constituent Assembly of Venezuela (ANC), Tania DĂaz, affirmed that social networks are inundating the South American nation with false news.
DĂaz indicated that for Venezuela a whole strategy of psychological warfare is deployed, whose objective is to terrorize and “immobilize the forces of the Revolution, and then generate a sense of vulnerability and despair in the Venezuelan people who are in the streets defending the process on going”.
DĂaz stressed that they seek to poison the population with this news and generate hatred to create a wave of violence in the country.
The current psychological warfare to which Venezuelans are exposed is part of US coup plans against Venezuela.
