Presidents from 11 Latin American countries will participate in the meeting to be held this Sunday in the state of Chiapas, on the border with Guatemala.
The meeting is being held while Mexico and Central America are facing an “unprecedented” migratory flow, as warned by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) last month. According to the Organization, the US-Mexico border was the most dangerous land migration route in the world last year, reported VTV (Venezolana de Televisión).
