
This Thursday Venezuelan Minister for Habitat and Housing, Ildemaro Villarroel, reported the delivery of 3,335,262 homes destined for the Venezuelan people, thereby guaranteeing the well-being of families in the national territory.
From the Villa Bolivariana development, located in the Altagracia parish, Sucre municipality, Sucre state, Minister Villarroel delivered 24 homes, accompanied by the mayor of Cumaná Luis Sifontes.

The Minister explained that 1.1 million were granted land titles in urban development projects “with a pandemic, the imperial blockade, theft of our assets, frustrated assassinations, and attempted invasion, the revolutionary government continues to build houses for Venezuelan families.”
For his part, the mayor of Cumaná, Luis Sifontes, asserted that since 2011 more than 141 thousand homes have been built in the region and “more than 12 thousand are under construction for working-class families,” according to a report by news agency AVN.

A worker in the education sector, Yumery Salazar, was thankful for the delivery of a home that will provide a roof over her head. Salazar explained that she had lived in a cardboard house that caught fire, had lost all her belongings, but was fortunate to be selected, along with her family, to receive new housing.
“Thank God, here we are in Villa Bolivariana, Las Tetras sector, receiving homes of 70 square meters, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a laundry room. It’s very comfortable, we feel happy,” said Salazar.
