The number of Covid-19 infections in Venezuela increased to 402, after the detection of 14 new cases in the last 24 hours. This was reported by the president of the republic, Nicolรกs Maduro Moros, from Miraflores Palace, located in Caracas.
The new infections are located in the states of Aragua, Miranda, Nueva Esparta, Apure and the Capital District. He explained that to date 190 people have recovered.
The diagnostic survey of the Patria system has been answered by more than 19 million Venezuelans, while 204,574 house-to-house visits have been made.
Venezuela has carried out 512,181 tests for the diagnosis of Covid-19, which represents 17,073 tests per million inhabitants.
Regarding the control of the entry of Venezuelans through the borders, he pointed out that more than 30,000 nationals have returned to the nation, of which 40 people have been positive with Covid-19.
Most of the cases are imported from Colombia and Brazil, which is why the Bolivarian government has been emphasizing that all the prevention protocols established on the border checkpoints should be respected.
