The elected president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, on Monday thanked the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, for the congratulations he sent and expressed that in order to overcome poverty and inequality in the region, Latin America must work together.

In that sense, Fernández told the Venezuelan head of state that to achieve the goal of overcoming poverty and inequality, “the full validity of democracy is the way to achieve it.”
