Venezuelan Electoral Power (CNE), in order to guarantee the transparency, efficiency and reliability of the process of the parliamentary elections scheduled for December 6, has launched a channel with a CNE TV streaming signal to allow the monitoring of audits in which any Venezuelan can access, from anywhere in the world, by visiting the website of the National Electoral Council www.cne.gob.ve or by copying the link http://vod.streamingconnect.tv/cnetv/user/ directly into their browser.
In this way voters, organizations with political purposes, the media in Venezuela, as well as any citizen anywhere in the world, now have the possibility of witnessing in real time the development of the Software Audit currently being performed on the voting machines, a process that began on October 12 and will end on Friday October 23.
It is worth noting that the National Electoral Council (CNE) has all the technical tools needed for the optimal performance of each of the audits, allowing national and international observers and political organizations the opportunity to witness this process, which strengthens the chain of trust in the automated electoral system, considered cutting-edge for Latin America and the world.
In compliance with the biosafety protocols for the prevention of COVID-19, the National Electoral Council (CNE) has designed an innovative scheme, through videoconferencing, to allow the active participation of national and international electoral experts in all the sixteen audits that are part of each electoral process.
It should be noted that political organizations and parties are participating in person through their electoral technicians and representatives.
