From Venezuela and made by Venezuelan Chavistas
The governor of the state of Zulia, Omar Prieto Fernández, announced the arrival of a ship with toys and an immediate start to distribution so that Zulian girls and boys can enjoy a happy Christmas “We thank God and President Nicolás Maduro Moros for sending all these toys, because our people will have a happy Christmas now. This will fill our children with joy this 24th of December.”
He stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution, despite the economic war, made a commitment to the Venezuelan and Zulian families, so that no boy or girl was left without a gift in the Christmas season. “Despite the persecution, our president does not rest, nor does he stop thinking for a day about the happiness of the people.”
He announced that the distribution will be made to each municipality, by the mayors and protectors in two jurisdictions, in charge of coordinating with the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP), to bring joy to Zulia’s people.
Earlier in December the Venezuelan Minister for National Commerce Eneida Laya received a shipment of 12 million toys at the Puerto Cabello Warehouse in Carabobo state. She reported that the toys were gong to be distributed through the governors, in coordination with CLAP.
In other regions of Venezuela, such as the capital city of Caracas, the distribution of toys has already started.
